In the name of Allah the most beneficent and the most merciful.
Assalamu Alaikum. “Praise be to Allah. One of the greatest of deeds before Allah, may He be exalted, one of the dearest to the Most Merciful, one of the highest in honour and greatest in chivalry, is showing kindness to the weak and the sick, taking care of them and looking after them.” We follow this dictum in the management of the CRESCENT HOSPITAL, to serve the sick and the needy.
I deem it an honour and privilege to serve as Secretary of this Charitable Hospital. During my first year as Secretary I am happy to report that our Hospital achieved better results compared to previous years. A combined total of 72,719 inpatients and out-patients were treated during the year compared to 64,131 in the previous year. Similarly our other departments viz. Surgical Department (647), Circumcision (3,103), Ophthalmology (4742), did much better than the previous year. However, the performance of our Dialysis Department (2,250) could not match its previous record (3,167), due to various reasons beyond control. Complete details are given below for the appreciation of our members. We constantly review the working of all the wings of our Hospital and try our best to remove the bottlenecks that hinder our performance. It is always our endeavour to improve the functioning of the Hospital and to satisfy the patients who repose confidence and trust in us. We have been able to add state of the art equipment like Yag Laser, Green Laser, for our OPTHALMIC CENTRE, Echo cardiogram etc. to cope up with the technological advancement in the treatment of our patients. We have also integrated all our activities under a comprehensive hospital software and equipped ourselves with the required hardware. Our Latest project to set up a modern technologically advanced OPHTHALMIC CENTRE is in progress.

I owe a debt of gratitude to our President for his constant guidance and help in the smooth discharge of my duties. For him I wish to add “congratulations to the one whom Allah enables to extend a helping hand to the weak, sick and needy; congratulations to the one who spends his life time doing acts of kindness. We hope that Allah will bestow upon him mercy and pardon and be pleased with him. I thank our Treasurer Janab T. Noor Mohiuddin Sahib a highly experienced person not only in his field but also an able Administrator. I thank the Vice – President the Joint Secretaries and all members of the Governing Body who take pains to regularly attend the meetings of the Governing Body and share their opinions which is a source of great strength to the institution.
I thank all the Consultants who visit the Hospital and hope for their continued support in making this Hospital popular. I thank the Medical Officers including the Resident Medical Officer the paramedical staff, the office Staff, Administrative Officer, Secretarial Officer and Accountant for their help in running of the Hospital.
I thank all the donors and pray Almighty Allah for their prosperity in Deen and Duniya and I hope they continue to patronize this Charitable Institution.
